Course resources and study materials

This section is for course tutors who a) wish to know more about the structure of MA Resources, how to navigate them, how to access and download the documents and b) download many worksheets and sample tests, etc., which can be used in a class context or as homework. Many of these will be useful for either an MA class, or for composition workshops. In addition there is a new section (Performance Resources) which contains various ensemble pieces with variable orchestration, which can be played and analysed in class.

We have started to incorporate teaching materials shared by Junior Guildhall teachers. Over time we hope to acquire materials from as many teachers as possible. Please send your tried-and-tested teaching materials to me at michael.christie@gsmd.ac.uk, and I will include them in this section.

These documents contain everything you might need to know about how to navigate around MA Resources, take quizzes, upload essays or contribute to forum discussions. There are also reference documents, such as the Higher Certificate in Music Syllabus 2007, which you can use to check the requirements for your M3 exam course, as well as helpful advice about essay-writing, etc.

Look down the course units until you come to the document you require, then click on the document to open it.
