Reflection on first essay:
- What was your experience of writing the essay?
- Share goals
Activity 1: Brainstorm questions…
- …to help each other reflect on goals (Why that goal? Why now?)
- What’s your experience of the process? How do you feel it’s going? Where are you on the spectrum from stress to contentment?
- Is there a specific aspect of confidence you want to achieve? What is your thing that you want to build on?
- Which aspect of confidence is the most challenging to you?
- …to help each other action goals (What’s your strategy? What steps are you taking TODAY?)
- In your day-to-day life at Guildhall, how do get around the fact that there is a language barrier with your coaches and teachers? How do get around the difficulty in communicating?
- What resources help you translate from your language?

List approximately 5 things that you could be doing right now consistently over the next 40 days to become the go-to person for the kind of work you want to do

Questions to stimulate action:
- What gets under my skin? What irritates me about the world as it currently exists?
- What would I be doing today if I were truly committed to _____________ ?
- Is there anything else I could possibly do to take another step closer to my vision? Any stone left unturned? What’s the very next physical action I could take to move me — even slightly – in the direction of my goal? Where am I holding back?

Get a notebook and write down your answers, or talk to someone you trust and take it in turns to explore these questions.

In your relationship with yourself? Your relationships with friends and family? Your relationships with work and with health – and any other important aspect of your life?From those changes…
Which ones would you like to keep? How might you support yourself to embed them? This will include what you say to yourself, as well as your habits and decisions.Consider
What are the things likely to get in the way?Remember, small steps can have big outcomes
Picture yourself in a year’s time, after you have adapted and transitioned into the version of yourself and your life that you wish for. How would that feel? What would your belief about yourself be? Keep a list; make a mood board or Pinterest board of images that will inspire you in the weeks and months ahead. Add to it and change it, as you adapt and change.Discussion of 2nd SRA
